  • A year ago I posted this little cat looking into my back porch window. Here's her story and how she was lost.

  • The last photo is the original post from last year. We found her owner! Turned out she's from a town 20 miles away and went missing a year before
  • showing up on my doorstep, which explains why we didn't find her in missing cat posts. I showed a bunch of people her picture and my friend at a shop recognized her.
  • She pulls up her phone to check the pictures - there's no mistaking it. This is her sister's missing cat. Down to the exact nose stripe zigzag.
  • Apparently her dog knocked the screen out of the window and the cat was just outta there. So she came over and reunited with her cat. After
  • some cuddles, and discussing, we decided the best place for the cat was here with us, since they'd since gotten another dog and the kitty is a bit animal aggressive. (a bit! goodness me.)
  • So here she is. A happy spoiled fluffball. She's chipped and fixed and an always only indoor kitty forever after.

  • She can keep her daggers though. She likes to chew through phone chargers, shoe straps, and my husband's arms, but we have no regrets.

  • Whichever one of you came up with the name Misaki, you done good, that's what we went with. Thanks for enjoying our Misa, friends.
  • myironlions This is a cat who knew darn well what she was doing ... she re-distributed herself to a home of her regal choosing. Maybe the former humans just weren't
  • providing a sufficiently attractive treat incentive package or they failed to ask her purrmission on the matter of the dog's existence. Whatever it was, she took matters into her own paws.
  • Good on you for reuniting her with her former subjects so they wouldn't be forever wondering, and good for them in accepting her decree regarding her castle and kingdom selection.
